Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in Australia is a model and actress. The first time she was known, she was Pepper Steiger in Australia. The role she played in the 100 episodes of the soap opera Neighbors broadcasted between 2006 and 2007 established her as an international sensation in Australia. Two different projects brought her to Hollywood: the choral drama Hollywood & Wine which she played an undiscovered Hollywood actress. Then she was offered a part as Maya an extremely seductive medical student in Scrubs' ninth season. As a result, the entire series abruptly ends. Next, she continues shooting for the Farrelly brother-based comedy Good to shoot featuring the Jason Sudeiki and Owen Wilson tandem. This follows appearances in B-series and series. In 2013, she was able to be more visible in projects: she appeared on six of episodes in the detective series Franklin and Bash then landed her first role as a regular in the web-based series Chosen which is portrayed in the voice of Milo Ventimiglia. She is in the initial two seasons and also gives the response to Chad Michael Murray. Then, she appeared in two film features with an airplane setting. She is a pilot. She also appears on the poster for a new TV series called Matador featuring Gabriel Luna. The thriller-based series in which actors play CIA agents and produced with director Robert Rodriguez however does not over a total of 13 episodes. The pilot for a second show that hasn't been successful, is still in production. She shared the poster for the B-Series romance Borrowed Moments in 2015 with Brian Krause, then appeared in the role of Kad Cuoco and Kevin Hart's co-stars in the comedy Witness for Rent. Additionally, she was an integral part of the huge release of the speculative Knight of Cups by Terrence Malick. She also appears in five of the Satisfaction episodes.
