Lowell began her acting career in Dangerously Close, followed by an appearance in Club Paradise, starring as Robin Williams. Her roles included co-starring alongside Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989), and as Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. She also appeared in Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she appeared in the identical role of Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. And again in 2022 on the show's original.
