StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican American actress. Her first role was in Miss Bala (2011), an Mexican crime drama film. She was then in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015) and Going Under (2016). Sigman was seen in Narcos (2015) as along with S.W.A.T.(2017) The second and first seasons, respectively. Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico as the daughter of an Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, a New York Yankees scout from Kansas. Through her father, she's an U.S. citizen. [2][3][4] The father of her, athlete Kenneth Ray Sigman was her mother. Her career began on Mexican television before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. She played the lead role in Laura Guerrero (Miss Bala), a Mexican crime drama. The film was picked for consideration as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards. However, it was not on the final cut. (9) Sigman was awarded a Dublin Film Critics Circle Award in recognition of her work as film critic in 2011. The next year, she appeared as Catalina Aguado in the Canadian documentary film Flight of the Butterflies. 2013 saw Sigman star in the Norwegian thriller Pioneer
