Paula Patton, an American producer and actress, is recognized for her performances as the main character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action-spy thriller) and Precious (a dramatic). Growing up in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, she had lots of dreams. Her mother was a film fan and urged her to enjoy movies as a young person. Paula became involved in many co-curricular activities in school and had a particular interest in dramatics. She loved performing in stage productions along with her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School staged a variety of plays, and the actress decided acting was her preferred career. The summer was a blast at the University of Southern California. The program was an award for a PBS three-month project to film documentaries. The first assignment was to be an assistant to production for TV documentaries, after completing her project. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. While she was happy with her work but she always dreamed of becoming an actress. She started her career in acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star on romance comedy Hitch. She has appeared since in many films and TV shows.
