Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born April 16 1996 in Miami Florida. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. The father of her is Argentine of Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish and English. Taylor Joy has four siblings, one in each parent's previous marriages. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, after which the family relocated into Victoria within London. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was extremely stressful. She refused to learn English and hoped she could relocate back to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was ordered to move schools. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. When she was 16 she left college and began pursuing a career as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an acting star began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model to hire her as a professional model.
